Product overview
The BQ29200 monitors two series Li-ion cells and opens the external protection FETs when either cell exceeds the 4.35V overvoltage threshold. An internal delay capacitor sets the overvoltage response time, and automatic cell balancing equalizes charge between cells. It operates from -40C to 85C with a typical 3uA operating current and is intended for battery-pack protection circuits.
